The world’s tallest building Burj Khalifa located in Dubai on 25th Jan lit up in the tricolor of Indian flag celebrating the 68th Republic Day. And same would be continued on 26th Jan also.
The fabulous tricolor visual of Burj Khalifa strongly reflects the solidarity of the UAE and its people with India; it reflects that now UAE and India are tied up with strong cultural and trade relations.
As per Khaleej Times the LED show will be at 6:15pm, 7:15pm and 8:15pm on both days with The Dubai Fountain performance complementing the grand illumination.
Beside LED show in Dubai, the Indian Consulate in Dubai has a flag-hoisting ceremony at the consulate premises by Consul General Anurag Bhushan, followed by flag-hoisting at the Indian High School grounds in Oud Metha.
The flag hoisting is followed by a march-past by the students. Moreover, in the evening, a cultural programme titled “Aaj Ki Shaam Desh Ke Naam” is planned at the school grounds where folk’s dances and extracurricular activities will be performed by student.
The Republic Day celebration become is going fabulous as the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is the guest of honour for India’s Republic Day on Thursday.
He was personally welcomed by Indian President Pranab Mukherjee on 25th Jan and held talks in New Delhi with PM Modi. On this important occasion both the countries have inked a number of agreements.
